Hello Everyone, I’m Wendy Carmon-Florencio the Notebook Connoisseur, welcome to my corner of the web. I created this blog to spread my love of words and that special material that holds them: paper.

I was born in Salem, MA and raised between Lynn, MA and Manhattan. I now call Lynn, a growing city about 10 miles from Boston, home. I live with my husband, Junior, and our four children. In May of 2009 I founded Studio Piluca a blog, print shop and paper gifts company born out of a love of paper, production, design, business and writing. I grew up fascinated by stationery companies, in particular Lisa Frank, Hello Kitty and David & Goliath, and always knew I would design a line of paper goods. After going to college for years and changing majors a million times, I finally gave in to my desire to create, got a certificate degree in Digital Design at my local community college and jumped into the paper goods industry feet first.
